Thank you for shopping with Lauren Phelps Designs. Below are the terms and conditions that apply to our shipping process.
All orders are processed within 3–7 business days unless otherwise noted on the product listing or during peak holiday seasons. Business days do not include weekends or holidays.
Custom or made-to-order items may have longer processing times, which will be stated in the product description.
We ship via USPS and UPS, depending on the method selected at checkout and the most efficient option for your order. Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed.
Shipping upgrades (e.g., Priority or Express shipping) refer to transit time only and do not affect order processing times.
Once your order has been fulfilled, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details. Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking information to update.
Once the item has been shipped & accepted by the carrier, it is out of my control. The buyer is responsible for taking all measures to find a lost package. (This includes reaching out to your local postal office.)
If a package is marked as delivered but cannot be found, please check with neighbors or your local post office. Unfortunately, we cannot replace or refund items once they are marked delivered.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the shipping cost. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the buyer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping. If you realize there is an error after placing your order, please contact us immediately.
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Additional shipping fees will apply.
International Shipping to the EU (DDU Configuration)
At this time, Lauren Phelps Designs does not collect VAT on orders shipping to the European Union.
We are fully configured for DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) shipping, which means:
VAT is not collected at checkout
Taxes are not included in product prices
Shipping is not taxed
You are not charged VAT on your order at the time of purchase
Instead, EU customers will be responsible for paying all applicable VAT and duties directly to the shipping carrier upon delivery. This provides clear, transparent pricing and avoids surprise charges at checkout.
This configuration eliminates any EU VAT registration, reporting, or remittance obligations on our end and simplifies your shopping experience. If you prefer to prepay VAT, please consider ordering through our Etsy shop
